Description
JEM - Vase (1)
France - Glass

Very rare conical vase with crystal-clear sound with a beautiful hand-painted decoration, enamelled fruits on a bright yellow background with a flat bulb-shaped base on a green background in perfect condition and with no chip, signed "JEM". This glassmaker was François Théodore Legras’ student who died in 1916, one of the four master glassmakers at the Foundation of Art Nouveau with Gallé, Daum and Lalique. His nephew, Charles Legras, took over the business. The signatures were then “Legras” or “Pantin” or even “Legras Cie St-Denis”, “Sargel”, “Leg” or “JEM”. Secure shipping with track & trace
