Fantastic prism shaped fragment of Seymchan meteorite, Russia 1967. Type: Pallasite. Stabilized to prevent oxidation, and perfectly polished to achieve a spectacular mirror effect. Ideal for jewellery or for a collection.
Pallasites are stony-iron meteorites, with olivine crystals in a metal matrix. They form in the mantle of large asteroids and they are very rare and very beautiful specimens, which account for only 1% of known meteorites.
A lovely specimen to add to your collection and that, without doubt, will multiply its value over time.
As of the IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association) members, with number #7412, we guarantee the authenticity of all our pieces. Buy with guarantees.
Greetings and good luck!
