Floyd Patterson (RIP) was an American heavyweight champion boxer. He became champion for the first time on 30 November 1956 by defeating boxer Archie Moore. The title was vacant after the undefeated Rocky Marciano (49–0) retired from boxing.
He fought great bouts against boxing legends such as Sony Liston, Muhamad Ali, Oscar Bonavera... Coached by Cus D’Amato in persona (Muhammad Ali’s trainer), he won the Olympic gold medal, and became world heavyweight champion at the age of 21. For many years, he held the record for the youngest boxer to win this title. A unique opportunity to own a very valuable item (8 x 10 photograph depicting one of the two bouts the boxer fought against Casius Clay ‘Muhamad Ali’) signed and dedicated by this already deceased boxing legend. The photograph comes with a JSA certificate of authenticity to guarantee the authenticity of the boxer’s signature. Good luck!
