Description
JEMINAY (China, 2017). DISGROUPED Metallic Meteorite. (A real rarity). - 92.67 g
China

One of the rarest among the rarest of all known meteorites is undoubtedly ‘Jeminay’.

It was found in Xinjiang, China, on 6th June 2017. Only one 6.43 kg specimen was found, from which the slice we are offering in this lot comes. It has been classified as iron meteorite, later unclassified after many conversations, controversies and discussions, although it is still possible that this classification might change after new analyses.

The Widmanstätten pattern that it features is wonderful, with ultra-thin lines as never seen before The piece we are offering up for auction has also fusion crust and is a piece for demanding and exclusive collectors or museums. An true rarity from space.

We are of IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association) members with number # 7412, so we guarantee the authenticity of all our meteorites. Buy with guarantees.

Regards. Adrián Contreras.
