|Object:||Woolly Mammoth Tooth|
|Scientific name:||Mammuthus primigenius|
|Geological Period:||QUATERNARY (0–2.58 million years)|
Beautiful and very large mammoth molar of a woolly mammoth, Mammuthus Primigenius. Unlike most mammoth fossils, the molar has been found along the Meuse and is therefore found in fresh water. The molar was found in the year 1942. Because the molar was found in fresh water, it looks very good to this day. The molar comes from the upper jaw of an adult male woolly mammoth and weighs 5.1 kg.
The molar will be well packaged and sent by insured mail.
