Beautiful and fun sculpture from the wide collection of Betty Boop sculptures. Beautiful details and the scooter make the sculpture very expressive.
Height approx. 34 cm.
The image is in excellent condition; perhaps slightly discoloured, I am not sure because I recently bought it (see the photos). There is also a small dot on her head of which I am not sure if it is original; judge for yourself (see the last photo). Rare specimen from a limited edition of 2000: no. 0896
Betty was based on Bette Davis, a famous actress who was known for her striking, big eyes. Helen Kane is also known as a source of inspiration.
The first Betty Boop film Dizzy Dishes appeared on August 8, 1930. Originally Betty was a hardly attractive figure, but Max Fleischers brother Dave changed her into a female sex symbol.
This sculpture is securely packaged and insured so that you as a buyer are not financially at risk.
