Very rare set of two large woven représentations: Napoleon "Battle of Marengo" and a "Hunting scene". Made in silk. Very fine artwork.

Dimensions 19,5 x 25 cm and 19,5 x 15,5 cm

"Battle of Marengo" and "Hunting scene", but these is particularly rare because it's woven round 1900-1910 by the Company Tavenier to demonstrate their capabilities. Unique pieces !

Hunting scene : The picture is of man on horseback hunting a stag with four dogs. It has NF (Neyret Frères) in one corner and D' AP.P. TAVERNIER in the other.

This are wonderful rare pictures.

Neyret Freres is a French company, start in 1823 and is still in business.

In very good general condition.
