Important Italian very solid bronze corkscrew, Emilia area, dating back to the early 1900s, marked ‘Faraboschi’, important manufacturer from Reggio Emilia.

A 4-column bell made of solid brass with cross-shaped central spacer, with leather gasket to prevent breakage of the neck of the bottle.
Iron shaft and Archimedean tip.
The corkscrew is signed Faraboschi on top of the bell, and on the bell it has typical decorations the maker applied for DeLuxe models.

Length: 15.5 cm, handle width: 8 cm
Overall weight: 378 grams.

A beautiful piece, essential in every collection that includes the best examples of Italian handicrafts of the period between the two centuries.
