Very large and decorative predator of the genus Caturus sp. from the world-famous Solnhofener Plattenkalk.

The Caturus is three-dimensional and has a body length of 40 cm and is on a 47.5 cm x 39.5 cm large matrix. Professional preparation. Plastic skull with impressive bite.

The fossil comes from an old collection. The locality is the Plattenkalk quarry Langenaltheimer Haardt near Solnhofen (Altmühltal, Bavaria, Germany).
