In 1922 Borsig delivered the first 10 units of the Series P 10 passenger train locomotives to Elberfeld with the Company Numbers 2810 to 2819. The locomotive with the Company Number 2811 at Elberfeld was the 11,000th locomotive produced by Borsig, and was finished as the first locomotive of type P 10 done in the black and grey photographic livery for the well-known factory photograph.
