"TSUBAS" Hermès Scarf Good condition
Christiane Vauzelles, inspired by the Japanese "Tsuba", created this beautiful design for Hermès in 1991.
On Japanese weapons, especially katana swords, the guard is called a TSUBA. 5 TSUBAS are arranged on the scarf in symmetrical fashion: 1 at each corner and one in the centre.
Four Samurai saddle flaps or Aori are beautifully decorated with dragons and other Japanese symbols.
The scarf is signed "Tsubas" on the bottom, in the centre, in the border of the drawings.
Material: silk twill hand-rolled.
Signed and copyrighted "Hermès Paris©" on the bottom right corner.
Dimensions: 90 cm x 90 cm
