Signed with pencil, monogrammed in the print and detailed 1927.
Both are in original wooden frame with wooden mat and glass.

Jan Voerman junior is best known to the public as illustrator of the well-known Verkade albums and as the son of the famous IJssel painter.
Jan Voerman junior was born on 23 January 1890 in Hattem.
He was the first child of the painter Jan Voerman and Anna Henriëtte Gezina Verkade.
In August 1905, Jan Voerman junior sent his first watercolours to Verkade at the age of fifteen.
This is the beginning of a collaboration that will last no less than 34 years and will end at the start of World War II.
After this, Voerman focused on his free work and great passion: working in oil paint. In 1975, at the age of 85, an honorary exhibition was set up at the Voerman Museum.
Six months later, Jan Voerman dies junior, illustrator, lithograph and painter, died in Blaricum.
