Description
Ancora 37 - Fountain pen in celluloid from the 40s - Nib still in gold 14 Kt
Italy - 1940-1949 - Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes

Beautiful Ancora 37 black celluloid fountain pen, produced in the 1940s.

It has original Ancora 585 (14 kt) gold nib.

Lever ink filling system.

Cap with screw closing.

In working condition, used, with slight signs of use.

Very rare pen.

Immediately after the war (production began in 1946 and ended in 1955, approximately) Ancora renewed their production with the introduction of new models that followed the new stylistic trends of pens with thinner and more aerodynamic shapes.

The pen has a peculiar torpedo, tapered and elegant shape, with a very original style, emphasised by the clip that recalls the torpedo shape of the pen.

The pen, similar to the Luxury model, doesn’t have its own name and is identified by numerical codes (in this case 37).
