Original woodblock print designed by Imao Keinen (1845-1924) - A jay in a Japanese blue oak - From the series "Keinen kacho gafu" - Japan - 1891

This bird woodblock print is from the series "Keinen Kacho Gafu", or flowers and birds in the four seasons. This series consisted of prints in pastel shades, 160 in total, which were bound in four books. Each book contained 40 woodblock prints from one season. The woodblock print of this jay was originally part of the autumn album.

Dimensions: 36.5 cm x 25 cm

This woodblock print is in good condition, with some soiling of the paper at the bottom. You can still see a number of binding holes in the left margin.

The woodblock print will be shipped by registered post in sturdy cardboard packaging. The shipment can be tracked with the Track & Trace code
