Rare etching with aquatint.
The Count of Artois (6 years) with his sister Marie Clothilde (4 years) on an angora goat 1763.
The later King Charles X of France (1757-1836) and Queen consort of Sardinia. (1759-1802)
These are the brother and sister of the decapitated King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette and of King Louis XVIII de Bourbon.
Etching and aquatint after a painting by Francois Hubert Drouais (1727-1775) by L. Morlier or L. Mortier.
The etching is attached to an acid-free cardboard plate. It's a bit discoloured.
