Sculpture depicting a female divinity who look like dancing,

In the style of the Surya Temple in Odisha State, India, this type of sculpture is called alasakanya, and decorates the walls by depicting scenes from everyday life, including female figures with a mirror, musicians and dancers, love scenes, scenes from the life of the Râja, inside and outside of the palace.

This piece comes more than certainly from a secondary temple of Jaïn influence.

Late 18th century - ca. 1775

Condition

Good condition. Some lacks and slight erosion in some parts
