Condition. Very good; It seems no to have been much consulted as it is fresh in every aspect . With an extra: a facsimile of the frontispice map from Baedeker's Russie of 1892.

Very telling description of the Russian state at the eve of WWI and the October Revolution. At that time the imperial state included countries as Finland, Poland, Ukraine and more currently independent states like the Baltic Republics.
"Perhaps best of all, Baedeker is not simply a guide to places, cities and memorable sights. It is an introduction to Russia and the Russians which to a startling degree holds valid today." (Harrison E. Salisbury)
Furthermore it describes excursions to destinations as Tehran (then capital of Persia), Port Arthur (then a Chinese but Japanese-conquered port leased temporarily to Russia, now called Lüshunkou District in China) and Peking (Beijing).
