Milk jug & Sugar spreader in holder, Roberts & Belk, Sheffield - Silverplate - Late 19th century

Description
Milk jug & Sugar spreader in holder, Roberts & Belk, Sheffield - Silverplate - Late 19th century
England

Beautiful set consisting of a holder on four ball legs. In the centre of the holder the grip is attached. The holder has space for a sugar spreader and a milk jug.
The sugar spreader has a nicely shaped lid. By giving the lid half a turn it can be locked and therefore can no longer fall from the reservoir. Both the spreader and the milk jug are beautifully decorated with garlands.
The whole is in very good condition and on all parts the marks can be seen from the creators; Roberts & Belk. Roberts and Charles Belk entered into a partnership in 1863 and used the letters R & B on their collection.
The lot will be properly packaged and shipped by registered mail.
