A beautiful mask of the Lega carved out of bone from DR Congo. It has a beautiful brown / red patina. This kind of masks were used in a Kindi ritual in which small ivory and bone masks were hung around a large wooden mother mask attached to a pala framework. Good condition with traces of tribal use.
