Beautiful, neat French comtoise clock with an eight-day verge escapement movement with striking mechanism
on bell and with a working alarm function.
Clock is in good working condition and runs and strikes as it should.

Rare depiction of the goddess Victoria, goddess of victory.

The original dial is pristine, barring a couple of hairline fractures.

The clock is complete and original with its old sand-cast weights, lyre pendulum, flat doors and back plate.

This is a rare and original clock that you won't find often nowadays.
