This nice long tin can dates from late 19th century and is made by the Dutch tin factory of de Wed. Bekkers in Dordrecht. With ornate grape vines in early Jugendstil. Next to the Emperor Napoleon on horseback on the lid, also colour lithograph of portraits of the emperor, the Empress, the Battle of Jena and the royal Portrait in Rome with the Grande Armée.

Dimensions 21 x 10 x 5.5 cm. Weight 200 grams.

The can is in good condition for its age, though some wear and tear particularly on the gold paint and signs of use, but the images are very beautiful and intact. Well closing hinges. A very decorative collector’s item especially because the still present advertising texts in paper on the inside of the cover of this EXPORT cigar. Will be very well packaged and shipped by registered mail, with track and trace, via PostNL.
