African Protection Figurine/Fetish in wood from the Attie ethnic group of Ivory Coast - “Waka-Sona” Fetish (wooden being in Baule)

This figurine was used during rites, to protect the owner against spells which would have been cast on him by evil persons.

Sacrificial patina on the head, 2 snakes surround the face.

Many scarifications.

Wonderful brown/honey patina of wear.

This figurine is placed on a custom-made stand of 0.4 cm in metal, created in Abidjan.

A certificate of authenticity from the Arts Gallery will be delivered with the figurine.

Objects are shipped with insurance and track & trace.
