Montblanc - Pen - William Shakespeare
2000-present - Excellent condition - barely used with minimal signs of aging & wear

Limited edition William Shakespeare ballpoint pen.

Complete set with its authentication booklet.

The set is in very, very good condition.

450 years after the death of William Shakespeare, Montblanc celebrates this illustrious poet and playwright with this elegant limited edition. The pen’s colours, in black and white precious resin recall the variety of plays written by Shakespeare: a white flag hung in the air above the theatre for comedies and a black one for tragedies.

The pen’s body has a gold plated ring that is adorned with 7 symbols representing the 7 most famous plays:

- A rose and a dagger for Romeo and Juliet, cursed lovers who only found peace in their tragic death.

- A skull for Hamlet, whose protagonist is torn apart by a terrible internal conflict, to avenge his father murder.

-Two chess pieces for King Lear, tragedy featuring a power-hungry monarch, tormented by the question of which of his daughters actually loves him.

- A coat of arms for Henry V.
