Old Balinese figurine from the 30s. Carved in the style of I. Patere, a prominent artist of the Pita Maha movement from that time. The style of carving is sober, almost primitive - clear characteristics of a figurine carved in the 30s. Almond shaped, slanted eyes, full mouth, pointed nose and long fingers. It is also characteristic that the hair parts in the early art-deco statues were not carved in detail.
