UNIQUE, LIMITED AND NUMBERED EDITION OF 2,998 COPIES. OUT-OF-STOCK EDITION.
The volume Libro de arte is bound in cotton fabric that looks like canvas, with the reproduction of a detail of the painting Vendimiando. Jerez (1914) discovers us 71 landscape drawings reproduced in facsimile, die-cut according to the originals and glued on the book. The careful selection, made by the Sorolla Museum, shows all the types of landscape outlined by the artist and the various techniques he used: pencil, charcoal, ink, crayon, watercolour or gouache.
The volume is organized in six chapters. They are opened with large fold-outs, reproductions of Sorolla landscape paintings.
The book Estudios, a unique work by itself, shows us the life and work of the artist, allowing us to understand them under the guidance of the leading experts, among them the great-granddaughter of the painter, Blanca Pons-Sorolla, researchers of the Sorolla Museum, or the head of 19th-century painting conservation department of the Prado Museum.
Los paisajes de Sorolla includes two illustrations with high artistic value presented in Carpetas de arte designed to be exhibited individually.
