Superb enamelled terracotta box from Italy, painted with horses and flowers in the art deco style. Signed V. Pinto Vietri.

Vietri House was created in 1870.
Giovanni Carrano arrived in January 1960, one of Vietri’s greatest artists of the 20th century, who designed and created the black manganese panels which cover the facade of Palazzo Pinto. In 1980, Raffaele Pinto contributed to the creation of the Ceramics Museum, located in Villa Guariglia in Raito di Vietri sul Mare, donating many pieces from the family collection. (ceramicapinto)
