Electric locomotive series 103.1 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) Version with extended cab, buffer cover and front apron with running number 103 243-2 in purple red/beige colour scheme. Location in railway Company Depot Hamburg-Eidelstedt, as used during the late 70s.
With mSD3 digital decoder MFX+ and extensive sound functions. The decoder supports the digital formats MFX, MM1, MM2 and DCC. 5-pole controlled high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel centrally built in. Two axles in each driven wheelset via a drive shaft. With traction tyres. With 3-point front- and 2-point red end signal lights, that alternate with changes in the direction of travel, operates in conventional mode, with digital control. Front signals on the locomotive, 2 and 1 are individually controlled with digital on/off switches. Cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Lighting of the engine room can be controlled digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm-white and red LEDs.
The moveable machinist figure in both machinist cabs which is digitally switchable is rather unique. Engine driver with reversal also for analogue use. New, detailed Einholm pantograph, digitally switchable. Mounted windscreen wipers, mounted handles and metal roof pantographs. Closed apron, brake lines, sockets, screw coupling. The length between the buffers is 23.2 cm.
The electric locomotive of BR 103.1 with article number 39170 was produced in 2017 in a one-off series only for Insider members and is in mint condition. With spare parts.
