Circular micromosaic plaque depicting a view of the Roman Forum in its original box with dedication.
The micromosaic was made with tiny coloured glass tiles on a malachite base. A great quality item, typical of the “Grand Tour” period.
Period: second half of the 19th century
Preservation: in good condition, no tiles missing. Worth noticint only a small glue residue on the back, probably related to an old setting.
