This clock is powered by temperature changes. A coil set inside the cylinder situated at the back of the clock expands or contracts when the temperature rises or falls, thus allowing the clock to function. The clock has 15 jewels and has been inspected by a clockmaker. It works well and keeps time properly. In good condition - used, with minor signs of wear due to age, all glass parts are intact The mechanism is in perfect condition. Square, white dial with numbers 3, 6, 9, and 12 in Arabic numerals and glossy brass arrow hour-markers The photos are part of the description. In order for the clock to function properly it must be placed on a level surface. The spirit level at the base should be centred in the disk. To set the time, the minute hand must be moved in a clockwise direction. It may need small adjustments after being moved. The clock must not be moved without first shifting the locking lever of the balance wheel from left to right.
