Antique signed bronze hand mirror with an image of prune blossoms, bamboo and a bird (bush warbler) - Signed: 藤原光吉 (Fujiwara Mitsuyoshi) - Japan - Late 19th century (Meiji period)

The mirror is in good condition. The back (the non-reflective side) of the mirror has a beautiful dark bronze-coloured patina. The reflective side is lightly scratched, but the reflection is still clearly visible.
The bush warbler (Japanese bush singer) is a symbol of overcoming difficult times and hope.
