A very fine carving of two oxes pulling a fancy cart with a driver and two passengers.
Very fine detailing and in very good condition.
Dating most likely from the third quarter of the 19th century possibly from the John Company well known for ivory chess sets in the middle of the 19th century with very similar decoration on their pieces as on this cart.
A report from an expert is added to confirm the age and the fact it is legal to sell in the EU. Bidders outside the EU should check own law on import of antique ivory.
