Description
Willem van Roozendaal - Amy Winehouse Newspaper
Grafitti with acrylic. Newspapers glued on canvas. Acrylic gold marker - Hand signed - 2019

Willem is an emerging artist who is trying to get his work known, therefore his works are still very affordable.

Probably you've all had a work of Willem in your home. But never on a wall. Because he has earned his stripes in the design world in which he has worked on special packaging designs for Autodrop, Douwe Egberts, La Paz, Heineken Bolletje, Lidl, etc.

A few years ago he sold his shares in BRUM design and he has a beautiful historical atelier in a national monument.

Artist Willem van Roozendaal is inspired by Andy Warhol, David Lachapelle, Picasso.

In addition, there are influences from travel, including through South America, India, Spain and Morocco. He calls himself a Graphic DJ. The paintings consist of several mixed layers of images. Through contemporary compositions, the artist makes a remix of the visible so that the invisible talks with us, inspires, touches and makes us emotional.
