Turkey - First half 19th century

19th century 800 solid silver Turkish Ottoman Empire long sherbet spoon with a twisted stem, star and crescent terminal and a coin bowl chased in high-relief with a Tughra - a calligraphic monogram, seal or signature of the sultan.

The coin is a 20 Kurush (830 silver) from the reign of Abdülmecid I (Abdulmejid) and is dated 1847 (Constantinople 1255, year 9)

The stem is hallmarked "800".

Reverse:
"May he be victorious
Struck in Constantinople"
Obverse:
"Sultan Abdülmecid Tughra beneath stars and above regnal year, wreath, and value"

Great antique condition.
