The photolithograph at auction, “Enne”, signed in pencil on bottom right and numbered on the back, has the embossed stamp of BolaffiArte on the left, to guarantee the authenticity of the signature and the work.
Max Bill was already a Bauhaus student in Dessau, where Kandinsky and Paul Klee taught, when he was 18. His teachers were: Josef Albers, Schlemmer, Moholy Nugy.
One of the most famous architects and painters worldwide, legitimate and rigorous follower of Bauhaus and one of the greatest masters of concrete art.
The work was published on the cover of the BOLAFFIARTE issue no. 27 in February 1973 (see enclosed photos).
Also published on the catalogue made for the exhibition “Le Copertine di BOLAFFIARTE”, held in the stables of the Royal Palace of Naples in December 2000 on page 18 (see enclosed photos).
