For auction here is a fully restored Alvis TB14 Special Roadster.
The Alvis was imported from England about 35 years ago by the current owner. He drove in several rallies and had a lot of fun with the car. After almost twenty years of ownership, he decided to complete the restoration. The Alvis was completely dismantled. Part by part has been restored. And the Alvis was restored to a new state in several years. Now the owner wants to part with his small vintage car collection. This is done solely for reasons of age.
The Alvis TB14 Special Roadster is based on a design by Belgian carrossier Bidee. Alvis never made his own bodywork. Nearly 50 different bodybuilders have carved out the Alvis chassis. The Belgian companies were active and created numerous bodies for Alvis. The Alvis TB14 Special Roadster was then produced by the British AP Metallcraft. A total of 100 units were built between 1948 and 1950.
The Alvis TB14 Special Roadster has a handsome appearance. Its shapes and lines are really very impressive! Many elements are quite typical of roadsters of the 50s. The overall picture here has an impressive size, magnificent elegance and is overall extremely well-proportioned.
The Alvis can be visited and picked up in the greater Cologne area.
