"TRIO", titled in mid left, very nice Cubist work, a rare major piece by the artist. Made in the cobalt blue tones highly sought after by the collectors who inspired Aram Koupetzian for the cover of his famous Blue Book (photos #8-11).
Painted in 2014, signed and dated at the bottom left, original work, oil and collage on canvas, 60 x 50 cm.
The modern frame is available as an option.

Aram Koupetzian was a pupil of Martiros Sarian (1880-1972) the greatest Armenian artist.
Koupetzian became famous for his Cubist compositions, known as synthetic cubism, originally invented by Braque and Picasso ca. 1910.
After joining this style in the 1970s A. Koupetzian was able to enhance it by adding a new depth and new colours never seen before.

The works are widely present in national exhibitions and museum in Russia, Italy, USA, United Kingdom and now in China.
