Carlo Alessi - Alessi - Bombè Service

Description
Carlo Alessi - Alessi - Bombè Service
Italy - 1950-1959 - Bakelite, Steel (stainless)

Designed by Carlo Alessi in 1945, Bombé is still today the most famous tea and coffee set of the Alessi catalogue, an object which is a symbol of the company's passage from the artisan dimension to the industrial. Its curved shape, which gives the name to the teapot and to all the items that accompany this set, reflects the aesthetic tendency of the first era of Italian design. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, with handles and knobs in bakelite, the Bombé tea and coffee set, with its rounded lines, is a timeless classic.
The service consists of:
Teapot no. 6, coffee pot no. 6, milk jug no. 4, sugar bowl no. 6.
Everything sits on a tray for Fratelli Calderoli, measuring 45 x 30 cm, for a truly beautiful visual effect.
