Dutch silver tobacco box with an engraved lid, Schoonhoven, early 19th century.
The beautiful tobacco box has an engraved lid and a lid closure.
The sides are ribbed and the bottom is smooth.
Approved:
Lion passant to the right 2: Dutch 833/1000.
- Minerva head M: Schoonhoven.
- Maker’s mark not legible.
-Year letter not found.
Estimated age: 1820-1840.
Dimensions: 13.8 cm - 8.2 cm - 3.4 cm.
Weight: 145 grams.
Condition: excellent.
Very light signs of wear, inscription on the inside has been removed, that is lightly visible, not disturbing, only mentioned for completeness.
