Beautiful clock man of cast iron with a clock on its chest and back.
Once there were clock men in the German Black Forest. They earned their money by selling and repairing movements, but they disappeared when clock stores emerged.
When the real clock men disappeared, they were missed. Jan van Egmond, a local factory made clock men as commemorative items, cast sculptures with a one-day timepiece on their chest.
This clock man is from around 1950. In beautiful condition. The clock does not run very well anymore, and it would need to be checked by an expert in order to function optimally.
The clock man comes with a pendulum and a key. It will be carefully packaged and shipped by registered post.
