Corner chair with a crested rail with an elevated crest with oval ends, the arms end in flat outward-looking hand rests, on two urn forms interspersed with column supports. On top of a square adjustable seat a rail with deep scalloped skirt, raised on cabriole legs with padded feet. Beautifully inlaid with rosewood.
If you encounter a circular chair with a particularly deep seat rail, it may have been used as a commode chair (night table).
