This piece comes from one of Australia’s oldest opal fields, known for its sturdy opal. It is only an 8-hour drive from Lightning Ridge, so it is still in New South Wales.
The Australian Lightning Ridge opal is of the highest quality, with minimum production and maximum esteem among all the opals in the world.
It has a higher hardness and brighter colours than African opals.
Luckily, we have found an old stock that we can now share with you. I hope the pieces will soon find their new happy owners.
