Born in Trento on 20th May 1919, Cesarina Seppi attended the Istituto Magistrale and then graduated at the Liceo Artistico in Venice in 1939.
Since 1968, she started to use acrylic colours and materials such as brass and aluminium.
In 1977, the artist made a series of sculptures titled ‘Clessidre’ in which the idea of the staggered hourglass in the combination of the 2 cones becomes dominant and further increases the possible interpretations. Double game in which you can see a reference to the time dramatically interrupted or on the contrary the peaceful recovery of its flow.
