From Nuremberg Collection; Provenance

Keil belonged to the first generation of Berlin's Wild Youth (“Junge Wilde”), with Fetting, Elvira Bach, Salome and others. His early works were already characterised by drasticness, dynamism and bright colours, which can be considered a reflection of the early period of Western Neo-Expressionism. It was during one of his frequent visits to Joan Miró’s studio in Mallorca, that Keil first became aware of the link between poetic associations and Mediterranean colours. His works are being sold in every major auction house.

He currently lives and works in Mallorca and Bavaria.
