Description
Clock of the Soviet Navy ship "3 minutes of silence" - metal alloy - Second half 20th century
USSR
This superb Soviet Naval Clock was manufactured in January 1982. It works very well and has recently been serviced and lubricated by a Ukrainian clockmaker.
This type of clock was placed in the radio rooms of warships. The red zones indicated the 3 minutes of ‘radio silence’ to be respected in order to listen exclusively for the SOS in Morse Code.
Once it is wound with the key, the clock can run for 7 days. The same key is used to open the front of the clock.
