Monthly Runner Comtoise - Brass and iron - 19th century

Monthly Runner Comtoise - Brass and iron - 19th century
Mechanical - 31 day movement - half hour, one bell

Offered: a beautiful original Comtoise clock. This clock runs for approximately 31 days, a so-called "Maandloper" (Monthly Runner). The clock also has a repeater function.
The feuille (brass rim) around the dial has a romantic scene, with a man and a woman under a grape tree with two picnic baskets, one with food and drink. The enamel dial has beautiful slender floral motifs for decoration and has the following name inscribed: B. Schwer à Angoulême, the dial is pristine.
Verge escapement timepiece with striking mechanism with large bell. The timepiece was serviced by me, cleaned and works as it should. Beautiful original weights that weigh 8 kilos each, which is common for a month runner and an original folding pendulum. The photos are part of the description.
Length of the Comtoise including pendulum is 140 cm.
Height of the dial is 47 cm, width is 28 cm, depth is 19 cm.
Comtoise comes with a mounting bracket and an old comtoise winding key.
Pick up in Bleiswijk, the Netherlands, is preferred, given the weight of the clock.
If the clock needs to be sent, the clock will be sent in two packages, one for the weights and one for the clock, pendulum and other accessories. Everything wil be sent very well-packaged and by registered post.
