English oak grandfather clock with tympanum shaped cap and engraved bronze dial, address: Will Warin Thirsk. Clock comes with pendulum, original weights, winding key and crest with bronze eagle. The clock runs and strikes well (with accurate adjustment and placement). The upper part with stained-glass window and blackened wooden pillars can be slid off.
The cabinet shows some signs of wear. The cabinet has a shrinkage crack at the front.
