Silver Biedermeier grape scissors.
65 grams.

Beautiful and rare (see photo book B.W.G. Wttewaall, Nederlands klein zilver) Amsterdam silver grape scissors.

Complete hallmarks; year letter 1867, office letter A for Amsterdam, content stamp 833/1000 and master stamp J.A. Lintveld who was active for a relatively short time.

These grape scissors have a very beautiful, modest decor without the often somewhat faint engraving which became common in the late Biedermeier period. The finger grips are finished with facets, the 2 arms of the scissors each consist of 2 C-volutes. The scissors are a relatively heavy 65 grams which is seen in the thickness of the silver.

Including cardboard box of the antiquarian jeweller Ruiten where these grape scissors were once purchased.
