Hendricus Anthonius (Henri) Dievenbach (25 July 1872, Haarlem – 16 January 1946, Laren) was a Dutch painter and draughtsman. He signed his works with H.A. Dievenbach. Dievenbach attended drawing school in Haarlem and the arts and crafts school in Amsterdam. He continued his education at the national academy of fine arts (1892-1896) in Amsterdam as a student of August Allebé and Nicolaas van der Waay, among others. In 1897 he married Maria Elisabeth Christina ter Weeme (1866-1943), sister of the painter Theo ter Weeme. The family moved to Hilversum in 1899 and in 1910 to Laren. The artist drew and painted figuratively in a traditional style, mostly still lifes and farmer’s interiors. He was a member of Arti et Amicitiae and Sint Lucas, with whom he regularly exhibited. He was also a member of the Vereeniging Beeldende Kunstenaars Laren-Blaricum since its founding in 1921.
