A blown designer vase and bowl in good vintage condition, which are engraved with name, number and year, by the well-known Scandinavian designer Per Lütken (1916–1998) for Holmegaard. The colour is grey/green.
The vase is engraved with Holmegaard / 19 P 56 at the bottom, and the bowl is engraved with Holmegaard / A200 or A260, see the close-up photos.
Vase - Height 25 cm x Diameter 9 cm.
Bowl - Height 8.3 cm x Diameter 29 cm.
The Selandia bowl was designed by Per Lütken (1916–1998) in the spring of 1957. The bowl is handmade and is formed when the glass blower carefully turns, raises and lowers the hot glass. The visual softness in the glass at 1400 degrees Celsius is immediately visible in the cooled, transparent version of the bowl.
Condition in accordance with age and use. Scratches, stains, spots with wear, especially on the bottom of both items. And a chip and flea bites on the bottom. See the last photo with the red arrow. There is also lime scale inside the vase and two brown stains. I think these can be removed with the help of vinegar and detergent.
The photos provide an accurate impression of the lot on offer.
