This charming sculpture depicts the famous musketeer D’Artagnan by Alexandre Dumas, raising his glass. He is sitting at a table in front of a barrel. This sculpture is said to be one of the emblems of France (Gascony) at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1889. Reproduced after an original bronze statue. Unknown signature.
